Enhanced Site Reporting

A good traffic exchange is a clean traffic exchange and with that in mind I’ve made some enhancements to the reporting of sites that disrupt your surfing session. On the far right hand side of the surf footer you will see a number. That number is the ID of the site that is currently displayed. If a site locks up your browser or contains too many popups, breaks the frame etc just make a note of that ID when you click on the ‘Report’ link and include it in your report. It will make it much easier for me to locate the offending site.

When you go to the report site, you will see a list of the past 5 sites you surfed in your current session … so if you forgot to note the ID you may be able to identify it by the name or the URL. At the moment the site list only lists sites in your current surf session. The next change will be to add these to the database so that if a site messes things up so much that you have to close your browser or reboot, you’ll still be able to see the last few sites you surfed when you log back in.
